Principal Software Engineers

Responsibilities:

(1) Designing and architecting software, including database design, Java class design and mobile/web communication protocols.
(2) Working with the company’s leadership to realize product development goals by taking high-level requirements and implementing software solutions.
(3) Managing developers to insure quality and timeliness of features delivery.
(4) Maintaining software specification, development schedules, and tickets.
(5) Working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround of new features and services.

Requirements & Qualifications

Employer requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field and at least eight (8) years of progressively more responsible work experience in software and database design and development, including Java development.

In the alternative, Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field and at least six (6) years of work experience in software and database design and development, including Java development.

In addition, successful candidate must have the following:

(1) Demonstrated knowledge of SQL programming and Databases such as DB2, Oracle, or MySQL.
(2) Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise application frameworks.
(3) Demonstrated ability to use test, build, and continuous integration tools.
(4) Demonstrated ability configuring and maintaining a cloud computing environment.
(5) Demonstrated knowledge of Agile software methodologies.

All years of experience may be gained concurrently.
