Chris has over 25 years of experience in software development, with 12 years in mobile and web application design. Chris has a long background in research and development organizations, including Woods Hole Oceanographic (WHOI) and Verizon (formerly GTE) Labs. His passion is to use technology to design and provide new solutions where critical needs exist.
Director of Sales & Marketing
Bill leads the sales and marketing team at TeachPoint. As a former high school teacher in Wisconsin and Illinois, he brings a real passion for education, innovation, and technology that leads to student, teacher, and school success. Bill thrives on building relationships and collaborating with educators, principals, and administrators to build and implement customized solutions to improve District and school performance. He has over 15 years of experience in various sales and marketing roles with educational publishers with a focus on providing technology solutions to customers that lead to increased student outcomes and teacher success. Bill is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of students and teachers.
Director of Operations, Support & Training
Gizem is responsible for the delivery of client support and training to users of the TeachPoint system. Gizem holds a Master of Science degree in IT and 7 years of experience in Telecommunications industry working with cross-functional team in a collaborative and technology-oriented environment. During her career she has managed both Technology Services and Operational projects. Besides working with clients and vendors directly, she has also worked closely with internal staff, project stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand and document business requirements, functional and design specifications for software development and web application projects.
Gizem has defined and implemented new internal and customer facing processes as well as enhancements to the numerous existing processes, which resulted in improved efficiency, reduced expenses and in some cases, maximized profit by automating some of the outdated manual processes. She has also directly contributed to Customer Development & Retention efforts by identifying and recommending new services and solutions for future development.
